Nice copy of the Soubitez taillight that I've had for years.

This is one of those NOS items that I'm tempted to buy even though I don't need it and would probably never use it. My hope is that the rest of you guys will buy them all before I do so.

Maybe four weeks ago I'd be interested, but it tough to consider purchasing anything that starts with "Russian Military". I know it doesn't make a difference, it is an emotional reaction.

I certainly can sympathize. My gf and I have friends in Russia and they are very worried.

On the original subject, dyno hubs work so much better I hate to even use these things anymore.

Yes, I know what you mean. Soviet-era bike parts may not have anything to do with today's headlines, but it feels weird.

Agreed that I wouldn't want to buy anything that might help Russia but these parts were bought and transported to the US some time ago. Any monies would go to the vendor; it's not as if a seller can buy stuff from Russia now to resell in the US.

I know, I know. It has been bought and paid for already and who knows if this is actually from the Russian Military anyway. It is just difficult for me to give a green light to anything that starts with the words "Russian Military" .

Also, the company that I work for does business with an sales agent in Russia, and based on that and experience with Russian immigrants, I draw a clear line between Russian people, who I like, and the Russian government, whom, I don't trust, even four weeks ago.

Perhaps the listing will change to "Russian Bicycle Commuter dynamo light set" .
