Voyageur

Waiting for tires, so dressing up the Schwinn Voyageur that I got a couple of weeks ago. First coat of shellac.
Its not a perfect job, but still looks classy and at home on this bike.

Did your head badge lose the red paint or did you randomly get a non red one? The rest of the bike appears in great shape as far as paint so that caught my eye.

No color on the badge when I got it. The paint is in pretty good shape. Touched up a few areas with some hunter green from Tractor supply.

If the color is true on my screen, it looks like Pine Green which was 86.

86 was the first year of the vertical dropouts for the Voyageur. Sometimes I wish my 85 Voyageur had vertical drops and sometimes I am glad they are horizontal.
