I found this bike at a swap meet, the red frame color wasn't faded too bad so it must have been in a garage for a long time. It's about a 1966 to 1969 model (I think) Italian, not a high end bike by any means. I'd never seen one like it so I took it home.

I've been working on it off and on for a while getting it rideable again. I rode it about 15 miles today, first actual ride, except around the block.

I was impressed with the smooth ride. It was designed to be comfortable but not particularly fast. It does respond nicely to hard cranking, though. The triple crank is really nice, too, since I'm an old fart.

I am shocked - shocked I say - to discovery you have replaced the Huret Alvitt RD with a Suntour VGT.

Haha. It looks "right" on there though, doesn't it?

Good looking bike. There is a lot to be said for triples on older bikes.
