Here's one made by Dale Brown, prolly best known here as the list owner/moderator of the Classic Rendezvous googlegroup and webmaster of classicrendezvous.com, a great C&V resource..

He's a remarkable man with many talents I don't know how many frames he made but it was never a big part of his business, I think he'd probably call it a hobby. I've seen some of the frames up close though, and they're put together better than most 'professional' frames I've seen, with an artistic flair that I really like.

I'm pretty sure I already posted my '72 Pro, but since I'm pleased as punch at picking up another. Here's a '74 silver/black Raleigh Professional fastback.

Fun fact, those are slightly lighter than a Super Record two-bolt. At least the ones that I weighed, which were same length and diameter, apples to apples.

Sorry, no lugs but still a lovely seat cluster all the same: late 70s Ritchey road tandem.

Here is a pretty standard Ekla from the late 1940's. The short-chamfered top-eyes came from the factory (Belgium) brazed to the seat tube lug, with a coupling for the seat stays..

No fancy custom lugs here, just a couple older factory ones showing nice fitting. First a mid grade 1964 Frejus.

Another is a 1972 Fuji Newest. I found this bike as a co-op mongrel with no decals and just the Fuji head badge. The lugs alerted me to it being of higher quality. Perhaps my favorite rider.
