(maybe it's time i photograph it.)
Absolutely, photograph your bike!!!

While you cannot post photos yourself until you have 10 posts (you can do up to five posts a day until you reach 10), you can add pictures to your personal album. Other active members can see your photos and add them in their posts in this thread. So go take some pictures!

BTW, welcome to C&V. We're glad you came along. Can't wait to see your bike(s).

Definitely take some pictures! Are you using 7400 parts?

My vote is use the tires as is, do watch for deterioration. The brake calipers are the preceding generation Dura-Ace but that is just a concours audience detail.

it’s a whole story. i started out going for period accuracy but then i kind of just wanted the race car. they’re so gorgeous, those components… i’d wear that rear derailleur as a pendant, no problem. they’re jewels.

you’ll see.

Just saw this post. Glad u found a pic of the bike. I love panasonic frames and felt like the all chrome dx would make a great pairing with dura ace parts to make it an all Japanese time capsule. Post a pci of your bike if you get around to it.

you have a keen eye. I actually chose the 1st gen btake calipers because they are much better looking than the 2nd gen with that wierd triangle pivot joint design.
