The 650b wheels, etc, got moved to another bike and poor 'Lenore' was left hung up in the basement for the past year +. Decided to return her to something closer to original state. 700x32, DT index shifting.... I've got a few bikes that aren't quite right for me but I keep around as loaners for visitors, though I think over the past 5 years only one guest has taken me up on a ride ("......OMG, the HILLS.....!"), so probably Lenore will eventually go to a new home.

Got increasingly excited as I scrolled this thread and did not expect the abrupt ending. A shame, such a cool bike. What happened?

The 400t was always a bit small for me, and I ended up with a 62cm Raleigh Comp GS that I moved the 650b wheels & brakes to, with some Porteur bars that work better for my increasingly bad arthritic neck (and I've got a 62cm PX-10 650b with drops, too). Kinda came down to fit and usage, and I had all the bits to rebuild as 700c.
