Looking for new 27 inch clinchers in 1 inch size
Can anyone point me toward some high quality 27 inch clinchers in a 1 inch size?. I am partial to Continental but it appears they don't have any 1 inch. Can someone make me a recommendation on a high quality 27 inch tire in a 1 inch size from some other manufacturers? I am not familiar. Thanks for any input.

I run Pasela Panaracer tires on a few of my bikes. They come in 27" x 1" and also available in tan side wall or black. They are reasonably priced for the quality plus they wear well.

I think this is where I got them. https://www.ebay.com/usr/bikewagon?_...75.m3561.l2559. They have them in stock. Biketires direct is out of stock.

I have a pair of new Pasela's here in the 27X1 size. I don't remember what they cost but I am sure we can work a price out. Gimme a call. (I am traveling with the DePauw golf team tomorrow at noon until late Sunday night . Smiles, MH 812-336-3283

I am a big fan of IRC, and when I can't find any Roadlite or Roadtour in 27x1", I look for Raleigh, who re-badged the IRC's.

Expect the 1" Pasela to run at least true to size, whereas some brand's 1-1/8" tires might be only that big (~26mm) or just 1mm wider.
Most older 1" tires had embossing stating 20-630, and actually measured well under 23mm wide in most cases.

Another recommendation for Pasela 27x1. I have them on two bikes, a Miyata 310 and a Fuji S12-S LTD and they measure true to size.
