Campagnolo Shifters=>black cable guide

Would anyone know the timeline of when the record shifters with the black cable guide were manufactured?

Thanks, Kurt

I associate black guides with the earlier Gran Sport shifters. Very similar. 50's/60's.

I tried to track this down. I did not come up with a definitive answer.
somewhere between 1969-1971 the black backing plates went away.
there were no ‘model years’ back then, and rotation of stock was undisciplined.
