I have been considering this method for some time...
Attachment costs about 30 USD from Amazon or Harbor freight. I think a light media like Sand might be good for aluminum. I once had a crank sand blasted to get the black anodized finish off of it. I am not sure it was worth the effort cause it took me a few days to buff it out to a shine...
(just noted that when my add blocker is activated the Herf to Youtube does not show... Go Figure. Here is the title of the vid if ya can't see the Herf "Wet sandblasting rusty metal using Northern Tools power washer adapter"
