Great color. I love the copper/gold with the brown of the saddle and grips. Boy, that has a short wheelbase. Not like criterium short, but sporty short. I like your front chainring setup. No overlaps on that gear chart or is there? And nice big platform pedals. Are those composite? As much as I love vintage pedals, the composite ones take a lot of abuse and continue to look and operate good. And they don't scratch up the other bikes.

Not a lot of bike capacity there, but they probably don't get that many bikes there either and at least they have a space for bikes. My local supermarket has none so I lock my bike to a sign post.

It's got to be getting cold there now.

32 this morning and it is a very sporting bike. Front loaded it feels good. There is a tiny overlap in the rings but with my chain length I can't use it anyway. All 6 on the big ring, biggest 4 on the small ring. 49,26 to 14-16-19-23-27-30.

The photo of your bike next to the rack reminded me: Simon Richardson, one of the long-time presenters on the GCN channel on YouTube, commented in passing in a recent episode of the GCN Show that he doesn't understand why bike racks aren't coated in a durable form of rubber. Never thought of that in the decades I've been a bike rider. There's a business opportunity for someone.

One reason I ride bikes with patina to the grocery.

I like the wheel pairing, both hubs are super cool! I also like seeing that the geometry is not too tight for fenders. Are those 27” rims?

700c. In fact it came with concave weinmann 700c. I have lighter wheels on it right now. 32s and fenders just fit.

Headlight is an axa pico 35. Plenty of light for the speeds I travel. Been getting out on this bike lately and it's a gas.

The upper midwest had a cold spell up until earlier this week, but now we're well above normal, highs in the mid 70s. Of course, it can't last.
