Reapplying Labels

I have this label from the early 80s that voluntarily came off of one bike that I want to put on another bike I have where I can see the same label is missing from. I have used spray adhesive from Hobby Lobby on some other things that I think would work well on this, but I didn't know if anyone had any other ideas that I could use. I think the spray adhesive is about 8 bucks a can which I have no problem with, but I don't think I will ever use the can again which seems wasteful. Are there any other suggestions that I may be overlooking? The label seems to be a high quality vinyl and is in great condition, not delicate at all. And while I don't think I would ever want to remove the label, I don't want the paint damaged if it does need to be removed. I'm thinking of using plain old Elmer's white glue but I ride this bike in the rain quite a bit and I don't know how well it would hold and I don't want to lose the label.

I would put the face of the label onto a large section of clear helicopter tape then cut a wide margin around it, possibly square. I would then mount the helicopter tape containing the label to the frame.

My wife has one of these sticker makers that I'll borrow on occasion. You can get either permanent or removable adhesive. It costs about $15. They also have a bigger model that is about 5 inches wide. https://www.amazon.com/Xyron-Sticker...313429897&th=1
