And this seems to be a free-for-all pylon to the new kid. Two things one I’m not a kid and two I can take the constructive criticism.
what really is interesting is you could only make so many posts you have to make so many posts it’s a little confusing when you first jump in to this thing. I’ve been working on riding bikes since 1973 so I think I have some good information to share…. I believe it tastes well this BS settles down.

If there were no spam accounts, there'd be no restrictions on, e.g., posting pictures in your first Bike Forums thread. But spammers make the restrictions necessary.
You've probably noticed that you're back down to being credited for three posts. Your choices: give up (many people do); make useless posts (they'll continue to be deleted); or make posts that, e.g., welcome other newcomers, comment on other's posts, describe your own bike, or raise specific points or questions.
And, as previously suggested, you can upload photos to the gallery associated with your Bike Forums account---someone here will be happy to add the photos to one of your threads.

There be Trolls, Genuinely nice people (IE: T-mar, Pastor bob+ More), and jerks who are mostly not bad people, they just fly off at the handle and jump to conclusions (a form of exercise i suppose)
People like me, like you and like the world at large.
So yes. And no.

Not really if you look around the forum. Often long established members attack each other and argue over the silliest things like chain lube and if eBay asking prices are a fair assessment of a bike valuation.
In the C&V forum people just want to discuss C&V bikes so when a new member posts a question like you did and begins to assail the forum policies, some get their hackles up. And some like T-mar will link to the photo album that you have and give an informed response. Hopefully you will come back, share some more information about your bike(s) and enjoy some of our bikes.

Hey there, choose 5 topics that seem interesting and post in the thread. Lots of choices. Don’t start a new one.
Then come back tomorrow and post two more on others’ threads and you will be good to post and upload pictures.

When you come here hat in hand and we ask for more simple info and don't get it, we do get a bit testy when we feel our time and effort are being wasted, yet again.
That being said we will still likely get on board the minute you genuinely join in as we almost always do.
We all have good info to share, many of us have a lifetime of it.
If the post count is confusing, its for good reason, but 5 posts X 2 days for 10 is not a complicated algorithm.
So welcome aboard, glad you found us, hope it works out and looking forward to see what you got.

I love that this is 'Post Four of 10' but the OP has 3 posts. I can't be the only one that finds that funny!

Hopefully he gets his ranting out of his system and truly joins in, we'll see.

Always funny when another comes along, absolutely certain they know better than we do.

This is the post that is still standing, I think he was up to 6 or 7 but the Mods deleted some of his junk posts he kept posting despite being encouraged not to do so.
Hopefully he gets his ranting out of his system and truly joins in, we'll see.

I work in the trades, and you get used to the banter...honestly I'd be more concerned if it wasn't there.

Which really is too bad! Some good-natured ribbing I think comes with the territory and the ability to hang with it shows a willingness to go back and forth and be part of the team. Kinda like if you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen...only the kinder, gentler version. I've participated myself and intentionally stirred the pot here and there to get some convo going, not in any kind of a 'wow old bikes suck' kind of way, more in the 'actually I think unicrowns look better' kind of way (wait, is that bannable?). Hey some do!
