Fake vintage HUTCH Pro Racer BMX?

Hutch experts I need your advice,
bought a Hutch at an auction claiming authentic, looked good when picking up but while inspecting at home realized I didn’t see a stamp on the brake bridge nor can I see a serial number in any of the usual Hutch places. The frame is covered in a thick black coating that can peel off and some stickers look crooked or creased around the curves of the fork. Most components look authentic but I’m not convinced about the frame even though the seller is adamant it’s authentic. Is it even possible the stamps and serial are under this weird paint? Something just feels off. Did I get played? Lots of pics for inspection below.

You should take more photos of the entire bike. Aside from that, I'm not seeing the Hutch logo engraved on the brake bridge, and the stickers look like bad re-pops. Put this up over at BMX Museum, those guys will let you know in a second.

It looks pretty convincing to me, other than the brake bridge. Maybe the powercoat is really thick or something? I don't think they started doing serial numbers until about 83 or 84. I was never really a Hutch fan, so I don't really know all the fine details.
