Fact: There is something in between obscure, vague word usage and disjointed sentence style that never has the intended effect, and a 6th grade reading level.

Opinion: Nobody wants to read the huge, stream of thought, rambling "paragraph" that can accurately be described as a word salad. Line after line of incoherent, poorly punctuated text is 100% terrible.

Guilty! I have tried to refrain for using the same pictures. In fact, I took the De Rosa to the back yard to try to get some good ones. Didn't work. Garage doors are much easier.
The Colnago rarely ever gets repeat pictures anymore. I took one that I think is the best for me and am satisfied.
Newbies are showing up that haven't seen pics from 2 or more years ago. I figure a couple of old timers would be tolerant of some level or repeats.

So what I am interpreting from the OP is if I do a build thread and end it with a complete bike, No more usage of the pics. I dont' think I can comply.

When cruising through the BF list, I filter out those of no interest. Consequently, I probably miss good info and pics that I might enjoy but never see if the rule was followed. I have gone back just to see if that assumption is true, it is.

Having said all that, I think for those of us older ones who have some growing memory issues, seeing the same pic is not a bad thing, as long as repeats are in moderation.

Such is the plight of any steel gravel or "adventure" bike with the de rigueur high (tire) capacity carbon fork. The tubing diameter gets progressively smaller as one looks rearward. The tapered headtube does a lot to calm the "This looks like sewer pipes connecting to a main" observations. Fillet brazing would help further, IMO. Aluminum is better for this sort of thing, as we know, since aluminum needs to be larger in diameter (for all the reasons it does) and thus much of the tubing matches or is close to diameter and/or silhouette to the head tube and carbon fork. Visual consistency is key, which is why traditional lugged steel so easily looks handsome. The imbalanced look of a steel frame like this could be easily remedied by simple having a fully sloping crowned steel fork with OS tubing (a la Soma). This still allows considerable tire clearance and the use of disc brakes, but doesn't look awkward. Naturally, it'd just be a Soma and not a Specialized. Oh well!
