Madison Bike Swap Haul!

Had a great day at the madison Bike swap. I also got to see Lon Haldermen for the first time in a minute. Video coming soon. I'll sell the Cannondale frameset at the Chicago Winter swap in February. It was a great way to get a Sante group inexpensively.

Do I spy a blue Brooks Colt? It's snazzy. I have a purple Colt.

I picked up a pair of Superbe pedals 7-8 years ago at the Twin Cities Bike Swap. They are quite nice. I think I paid $10 for them.

I've never heard of that model of Cannondale, nice bike!

It sort of reminds me of my own gruppo-themed Cannondale Athena:

Wow. I had that EXACT bicycle in a 58cm. It was great but I couldn't ever get it to shift properly and consistently. Id love to find a minty 58 or 60! Love it

I guess it's a long shot, but if you do ever find one, a 7s SunRace 13-25t freewheel used with Shimano 9s chain will shift very responsively if the cable path is entirely plastic-lined and the Synchro shift detent is at least freshly lubricated with a shot of oil.

Now that I spy the pictures on my laptop (I was using my phone last night), I'll correct and say "Turquoise Brooks Colt!" Even snazzier! And with the matching leather bar tape.
