The Forney Transportation Museum has an okay, but dated, bicycle display. They also have one of 6 Big Boys in existence. Theirs is the one that was involved in a derailment.

There used to be one off of 28th and Fairfax street (Park Hill Bike Depot, then Good Bikes, then Bikes Together - then they consolidated) which was the equal to the one off Osage st.
Some great deals were had at the Last Chance Bike Shop co-op, but since Ernie passed and their lease expired, it isn't possible to visit as everything is in storage right now as they are searching for a location. Found my '73 Super Course here, hope they make a comeback.
I haven't been to the Golden Velo as 75lechamp has suggested, but I've heard great things about it and would very much like to visit. Another fun visit while you're out there in Golden, CO may be the Spyderco Factory Outlet.
Another co-op that might be a good visit is the Lucky Bikes Recylery - they recently changed locations and they are a little bit more near Federal/Belleview now (south Denver, outside of metro area). They do a bit more roadbike-oriented stuff than your average co-op.
Definitely check opening days/hours if you plan to visit any of these.

"Lucky Bike" which is one of the co ops in the area. Pick something out of their dog pile. I picked up an Ironman there once, frozen seat post and stem, no wheels. It was never going to be rebuild by them. I actually saw it on two trips, ONE YEAR apart. I bought it on the second trip.
My basic rule on co-ops, buy something they haven't put time and $$ into, get a project, or even just a part of a bike. Most co ops have what I call a dog pile, its their pile of bikes they haven't worked on and may NEVER work on. Ask their permission and look for something you can redeem. My other "rule" is to be a net donator, cash or bikes.
One recent co-op find was an incomplete Frejus pictured below.
I need to level out the saddle, but basically done. No chain yet, as I don't have a plan for it. Obviously, I tapped my parts bin hard.
Second recent example:
F'd up Juvela. Prior owner removed most of the original Campy parts and replaced them with Shimano RSX......

That is a great tip about the 'dogpile'. I should ask next time I go, which should be soon, because I need to find some RSX 7 speed brifters for said Ironman...

the two co-ops I visited were Bikes Together, . Where they had a non drive side campy crank I’d been looking for…. Not for sale, a Brooks saddle in Green…not for sale. Anything in the glass case….nfs.
Randy’s Recycled Cycles had the nicest fellows, but nothing I needed.
I heard an ice storm was coming so I got out of Denver, only to be trapped in Cheyenne for two days as they shut I-80 down after a 60 car pile-up.
Andy would be pleased
