Sadly, not from Home Depot. I absolutely would have (just because), but their Super Domestique tires were not a 'super domestic' price. Found them for almost half. Fortunately, after I ordered them I read up and found that they were at least a decent tire lol
At the very least, I'm grateful for the misunderstanding on the meaning of the tire name, because I'm starting to get inspired for a tubing sticker for the bike.

Also, I've been inspired by some of the 'faux' or parody tubing stickers. I've been trying to do research into what tubing supplier Huffy has used in the past to get their stuff. I mean, it has to come from somewhere. If I can find out, I'd like to design a tubing sticker to put on the bike. Guaranteed genuine special low carbon mild steel.
After all: the type of tubing used in that frame is commonly referred to as "gas pipe" - right?

Working in a shop from 82 to 89 the Huffy LaGrande and the Huffy Santa Fe were the most popular big box store 10 speeds of their time. They sold TONS of them and I worked on way to many!! LOL

Alright y'all, I'm probably going to be looking for some new rings for the Campy crankset (is it a 'Record' crank? 'Super Record' crank? Did they even make a 'Super Record' crank?).
In any case, the rings probably aren't horrible but I've got plans. I need new or like new rings. Of course, only the best for the Huffy.
HOWEVER, I'm a little more open to alternative suggestions for wear parts. I don't mind something non-Campy if it looks beautiful and is new. NOS Campy is worth body parts
Unless you don't think I should be, and then I will be snobby and elite with my rings

There's a part of this I really like. There's a part of this that scares me.
My 1986 Trek 400 Elance was like the 2nd lowest bike on the Trek hierarchy- one step above "entry level." But I think it's my most beautiful bike. It's decked out with all kinds of top/upper shelf kind of stuff. XC Pro, XC Comp, Superbe, Ofmega, Maillard 700... I got a perverse kick out of seeing a Superbe Pro with the 400 on the chain stay and sporting a Suntour dork disk.
