Cino bound Bianchi
Figured I would chronicle my build here too for anyone interested and hopefully to pick up some tips along the way :)
Not even sure what model Bianchi this is, but it has rack and fender mounts, so I am hopeful it will accommodate bigger than racing tires. Bought it several years ago, but has sit unbuilt waiting for a good excuse. Cino sounds like a good one. Wish it had DT shifter stops, but I'll work with what I've got. That bench is neater than mine. You might want to mock up some wheels and tires first to figure out what size tires you can mount on the bike. Good looking project for sure.

Well, it’s got rack and fender mounts, so likely it was intended to use larger tires.
Might want to go 650b, tho. Bar ends (friction, of course) are perfectly acceptable for Cino. Should build up into a decent ride. |

There's a date- July 22-23, and a caterer, but the web site has not yet been updated.

I've heard of people riding cino on 25's, so whatever fits will have to do!

Looks similar to my Bianchi Trofeo which does not have much clearance, however mine lacks the cable guides on head tube. Still, Gravel Kings are available in 26mm. Don

Clearance check: These Vittoria Corsas are labeled 32, but measure out to 30mm on old school Ambrosio rims, and clear all areas. These are probably the tires I'll wind up on.

Do you know of anything? I have a Dura Ace 7900 crankset that I'm running normal chainrings on and they work great, but have a weird gap where the arms are supposed to blend into the (dedicated and extremely pricey) matching chainrings.

I'm with SL. Saw a photo of outer ring mount caps used on a build maybe a year or two ago. Have not been able to locate any source, however.
Might have been custom machined or 3D printed... |
