Yes, mine is also lugged, although it is difficult to see in that photo.
It also adds a bit of decoration to an otherwise bland fork.
I wish mine had the bi-plane fork but the Brooks makes up for any perceived shortcoming. :-)

I think the lugged unicrown is kinda cool. Again- it appealed to the conservatism of lugs, but still taking the leap forward in technology, however mistrustful.
