Ever seen these brake levers?
I stripped down an old ( late 60's?) Raleigh for parts that had a bent frame and found these brake levers. There appears to have been a jewel mounted on the lever. just under it are letters that look like jarret.
I have been trying to find info on them and am coming up blank. Anyone Know about them. Picture?
The bike also had a cottered crank with Made by Stronglight embossed on the crank arm. Is this a low end model?

No, but is that the ghost of an Altenberger logo on the hoods? Or just a trick of the light?

FWIW . Those hoods look like the just about indestructable plasticy ones that were fitted to Carlton / Raleighs in the 60s/70s . Normally weinmann levers?
Those levers look familiar too. Will have a ruminate

Early GB levers possibly ???
I think I have some similar ones hidden away that came with GB Coureur calipers .
Looks like the GB Sports lever in this link
