Schwinn Frontier MTB, mid 90's?
Schwinn Frontier, no pics yet, 4130, plain unibrow fork, emerald green, "ride tuned".
Not familiar, looks pretty good, seems ok, not high end, picking up in a few days.
Thoughts, opinions, ideas?

I think the Mirada/Mirada Sport had 650B but not the Frontier. Could be wrong.

I've found 2 of the Mirada's and one 3 speed Suburban with 650b rims, called about a Frontier once but the seller decided I was an idiot (fair enough) and refused to check the rim size for me....

Not sure about the wheels and probably not 4130, actually says "Hi Strength CrMo" on the frame and "Real Steel" on the fork so who knows.
S/N P6GD05540? and is a "GS" model.

This is just an ok example of a ready to go basic bike that I'm going to liberate from a co-op.

In my experience with co-op, the co-ops are well intentioned and many well intentioned volunteers. However, some co-ops are not knowledgeable about vintage bicycles and damage or destroy them out of ignorance about the bicycles they deal with.
Co-ops need researchers and bicycle historians.

And while they don't seem to know a lot about C+V they do seem to have reasonable ethic about it and I haven't seen any carnage so far, I have answered a few questions and helped a little.
