Type of wheels for a Peugeot PSV-10?
I have a 1982 PSV-10 that I would like to put new wheels on. Can anyone advise me as to what is a good brand/model of wheel to get? I would like to keep the 6 speed freewheel, so I understand that limits options.

126 OLD wheels will work and you can run a 6 speed or a 7 speed freewheel. You can hunt around for used wheels or check out what Velomine is selling. They have reasonable prices for 126 OLD wheels.
These wheels would look sharp on your bike and the price is reasonable at $169. The polished Sun M13 rims look good on a vintage bike.

Awesome French through and through. You deserve nothing less to fully appreciate the PSV and that's riding on tubulars. All French, too. They came with small flange hubs, but this pair on ebay would be my immediate grab. (Not affiliated with nor know seller)

What part of Indiana? I'm not that familiar with old Peugeots what size wheels does it currently have?
I have a decent set of lower mileage 700c wheels with Campi hubs and mismatched rims, both silver that I could let go of for an attractive rate.

Years ago I had a set of Sun M13 wheels on my PKN-10. I hadn't put that many miles on them and the rear popped two spokes. After that, I always thought the quality of Sun wheels was a bit suspect.

It will be nice if you can keep it all French.....
Mavic GL330 rims (tubular) combined with Maillard/Spidel 700 hubs would be a perfect wheelset on a PSV, which was one of Peugeot's last bike to carry all French components and frameset (Supervitus 980). If you can find the rims and hubs in 32 hole spec, even better, as it goes with the light weight of the PSV's frameset.

The wheels I had were in fact Sun M13-IIs. Will the Mavic MA40 wheel accept a freewheel?
