I think thereís one in Napa where the museum is, but theyíre doing a weird thing where they want 40% of the commission if you sell something.

anybody know of others?

I'm probably going to be 'that guy' that offers up useless/irrelevant information, but there's a big one coming up in San Diego on the 28th of May.

The Napa Bikefest swap is on Sunday the 7th, not Saturday/tomorrow.

South Sacramento Cider house swap on June 3, expect more in the way of old and very old Schwinn ballooners.

Last Saturday's South Sac area swap in Elk Grove netted me an SR Maxima 1983 that I have now completed fully 12 hours of work on, will be enjoying this one as it weighs only 21.8lbs with SPD pedals and bottle cages, all stock Superbe Pro and clinchers. I ditched the Ultra-6, 23t freewheel for a Uniglide 6s, 13-26t freewheel, had to add a 2mm spacer and dish the wheel that's all! Much better for my riding in these foothills!

...there's one in Sacramento on June 3rd, at the Two rivers Cider place, near City College.
Starts at around 1pm, when they open the cider bar...no sponsor, no fees, BYOT(able).

I talked to one of their guys on the phone. He said they're trying to keep it low key, so it may or may not have a lot for sale.
I will probably take a bike or two, maybe some componentry. I just gave most of my excess wheel sets to the Bike Kitchen, and they're open on Sundays and Fridays.

Looks like the 40% commission for non-members is true. Yowza.

Thank you for all the tips on upcoming swap meets.

trying to unload a too small pink colnago super or trade it.

Bought the girlfriend a custom Seven, she canít ride it in cyclocross or vintage rides.

Love her quote, ďas a woman, I like pink things no more than dogs like things with that stupid little bone symbol.Ē

So if you are not a vendor and want the sell at the museum table, they take a cut.

OP makes it sound like museum gets 40% from everyone. It does not.

My advice, pony up for a table, its only $50.

+1 to the table.

A percentage sounds bad when you're trying to unload a Colnago.

But $50 for a table sounds entirely reasonable.

Most swap meets have an area where a person can just leave a bike with a tag on it to text or call the person. Some charge up to five dollars per bike. Some donít charge at all like Seattle.

of course, one of the big draws to going to the swap meet is seeing the bikes for sale.

The Napa one is on the wrong day anyway.
