Definitely not. I don't think they started making the Montello until 1984. The logo above the shifter bosses was the first thing that made me think 90's. The serial number is also a later format. In the 80's the Montello would have had a serial number starting with two letters (the same two, I think). For instance, mine is NN902.
I'm not convinced it's a Montello. Those usually had chrome seat stays. It could be a Gavia or something else. A picture of the bottom bracket looking down from the top might be helpful. A picture of the rear dropouts would also confirm the 90's dating if they are stamped "Pinarello" and not "Brev. Campagnolo". Does it have internal brake cable routing?
Edit: I see that the 1990 catalog shows the Montello with painted seat stays.

OK, that does have all the marks I would look for in a Montello.

I keep coming back to this decal/sticker. I feel sure that I've seen it, but I can't find it anywhere. Maybe it just looks like something else I've seen. It may or may not be a clue to the year.
The brake bridge might also help. I think it's a standard piece. I've got one that's a lot like it, if not the same, on a 1997 Maschiagi-built Coppi.

I'm not sure the Montello model was still being made in 1997, but this bridge was probably made earlier. If someone (maybe @Juvella) knows what it is and when they started making them, that might give you a lower limit on the year.

1992 Asolo:
(Sorry, image doesn't want to embed.)
https://www.classicsteelbikes.com/wp...lo-Asolo-9.jpg
Another Asolo, no year given:

The latter has a similar brake bridge to the OP's: https://www.thehackneypeddler.co.uk/...lue-black-56cm
Yet it has the older 1010B dropouts...talk about confusing!
Ah, here's a 1992 Montello with the same brake bridge, dropouts and downtube decal:

When I was trying to ID my Montello, T-mar contributed a bunch of info:
Pinarello Montello Alexi Grewal ID needed
I've read several places since then that European Montellos were different, some having SL rather than SLX tubing!
