Need Help With Hub Identification

Can anyone identify the brand that uses the logo that appears on this rear hub? The second photo shows an additional stamping that may not be complete. Front hub is a MIche, but the wheels are non-matching so that may not be of any help in identifying this one. Looks like the logo may represent an "M" but not sure. Both hubs are as smooth rolling as any that I have owned.

it's tough to make out if the final character in the date marking is a 2, a 7, or a 9

leaning toward a 7, but only a guess

the Maillard facility in Incheville closed permanently in 1991

Thanks - Maillard was one of my hunches, but I couldn't find anything similar online. Fortunately, not the dreaded helicomatic.

The full date marking is 05 87. Also, there is a "KK" code in the middle of the emblem in the second photo. Any idea what that means?

It seems like I had some bmx hubs like that, we called them King Kong hubs.
