Photoshoot of the old Kestrel 200 SCI
Grabbed some quick shots of the old Kestrel as I waited for temps to at least get into the 40's so I can take it for a test ride.

How I bought it.

Full build running Ultegra 8000 with Zonda Wheels for now. 18 lbs 12 ozs

Yellow bar tape was the perfect selection

Good paint mostly but a few blemishes on the bike

200 SCI

EMS Fork

Quite the shine on it still

Dropouts in great shape

52/36 crank and not one of the recalled ones.

Oops tape residue on the FD

Gotta find another Kurve Chameleon for this if I like the ride

No clearance for larger tires

11 speeds

Couldn't fit housing liner inside the guides

Beefy front so common on these early C.F. bikes

Usual attention to detail on the cosmetic stuff.

Bars should be comfortable

I think the black housing was the right choice

Replaceable and adjustable FD mount

Zonda goodness. If I like this I may finally splurge for some light BTLOS wheels.

Shiny!

Bold colors with the black, my favorite paint scheme on these.

Beautiful frame and composition! Looks like a lot of tire clearance under each brake bridge/fork crown, which is great (and rare of this era), though it looks snug in some other places. Enjoy!
