The old 83 Team Fuji

I bought her new in 84, and I doubt I’ll get rid of her.

Not a very good picture, but Covid & the weather have kept me from getting out to do better:

The white perforated Turbo saddle on my Peugeot PY10FC is my favorite.
I've had it since the mid 80's.

I have a white, Ti railed Rolls saddle on my ALAN Record Carbonio. It's very similar to the Turbo.

Still looking for an NOS white Reydel GTI saddle but I suspect that they are already unobtainium......

i found in a local chinese shop the same cable housing, are they resistant?
i had a similar one but not with black details and the sun destroyed them by yellowing A LOT!
i think they were a cool detail for one of my future project, an atala saltafosso.
very cool bike btw

Thanks! I'm not sure of any specific UV resistant qualities, but the housing was actually put on by the person I bought it from and I liked the look so I kept it. However, I work on a lot of older BMX bikes and see this check housing a lot-- MCS and Odyssey are brands that come to mind, they definitely make it!

IMO, those are two of the best and most iconic white saddles!

I also have one such bike.
kept at vacation venue. Nice weather but a bit dry today.
just finished a ride and must admit the Turbo is not for my undercarriage.
‘this might cascade in a move away from white hoods and bars, they are provisional too. No slipping on the bars in the stem, yay.
bike needs a drive train clean…
‘I moved to dual pivots on this bike and must acknowledge that the finger force required is much less than the OEM Record Calipers.
just noticed the rear derailleur loop has a kink too, probably a marshaling around catch.
this is also my only bike with black sidewall tires, I cannot kill them.

Oh man, that's a perfect Dave Stoler Masi!!!! Literally just watched Breaking Away today (for like the hundredth time). I told my 6 yr old, who races BMX bikes, that it was a rite of passage to see it, especially since we used to live in Bloomington and go to the race when he was little. I still go back every year for it! Sweet bike!

fresh Subaru as a backdrop. That droop snoot saddle probably helps but takes a visual reset.

Love this saddle. Just looks good on this bike w/ the right amount of patina.

Probably not what you intended LOL but if it helps I originally bought it for my Focus RS-500 but didn't like how it looked on it.

Photo from long ago taken by a friend making fun of me for riding my bike all through the Chicago winter. It's a '77 Trek TX-300 and was a great commuter.

I dig the white vibes, but don't think I could pull it off. I stick to "Saddle, bar tape, cables and tires must match. And be black." because you can't really screw it doing that...

But white saddle and tape? Hmmm.

Another with the Concor Profil. Give or take, mostly about style and less about enhanced aerodynamics. Adds weight, too. Like the ducktail, it robs HP and lowers top end, that's why the subsequent years Carrera went with a teatray type spoiler.
