Can anyone identify this stem?
Saw this on a mystery 1940s touring bike on eBay.fr: listing
"Bullmoose"-style stem with hose clamp type fasteners for the handlebars. It looks like cast aluminum to me, almost certainly not handmade given the internals. More pictures in the above linked listing. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...f6ea54e670.png |

Never seen one before. I kinda like the logic behind the design. Attached to a nice bike as well, BTW. Thanks for posting it here. :thumb:

That bike defines diamond in the rough. With a tall price and tall order to restore, likely will stay in its current state of condition. So sad.
