The group is worth nearly that. That is cool for a carbon fiber guy.

Sorry forgot the link. OP edited - Scwhinn Paramount - post #28 Scooper was also skeptical in the thread linked.

If not a Paramount (seems unlikely) what might it be?

57cm LeMond frameset Billato built, Columbus tubing, Campagnolo drops - $175 (Lowell)

I am selling a vintage LeMond frameset built by Billato out of Italy using Columbus tubing most likely TSX from what I read online. The frame has been repainted by Hot Tubes but I believe the fork to be the original finish hence the original fork decals. Internal rear brake routing with cable housing still installed. Frame is free of dings or dents. Dura Ace headset , not sure on BB both spin good. Sold for cash and pick up only. Please mention name, item, a phone number for a response all other emails or texts will be considered spam and will be ignored. Thanks

^Generally I like Hot Tubes paint jobs, but that’s a… bold choice for the top tube decal.

Ciocc Designer ‘84 with a Dura Ace 7400 groupset (complete excluding the headset, which is Campagnolo Super Record, and Shimano SPD pedals). Indexed 8sp downtube shifters, 42/53 up front, SRAM 12-26 cassette in the back. New bar tape, chain, cables, and housing. Everything else overhauled and in good shape. Dura ace hubs laced to Mavic Open 4CD Rims. Vittoria 25cm tires, Nitto handlebars (I have Cinelli bars I swapped out if you’d like), fluted SR seatpost, and Selle San Marco Concor saddle. The frame is 56cm made from Columbus SLX tubing with cosmetic wear common for its age. It’s fast, fun, and pretty - feel free to reach out with questions.

That cleaned up nice! I know the seller on this one. The original owner I think was more of poser. I forget what he was known for, maybe a TV person, media…

jamesdak can probably weigh in as he owns/owned one. There is one near me that is nearly in scrap condition that was $600, now $200 and still too much. I don’t know much about the brand either, but folks do like asking a premium for them.

Looks to have a badly bent seat stay, but for $200 (or maybe offer less) it MIGHT also be fix-able and a Gianni Motta is a lesser-known but very high-quality brand!
