Gusti Leather Saddle?

Has anyone used a saddle by Gusti? Looks like a Brooks knock-off, but for $100 you get copper rivets and stuff. The stamp on the saddle actually says Gusti "Leder," so I wonder if it's actually a German company or something.

I *think* those are Dutch. Never used one so no input there.

Never used one either. Original shop is here:

They are available on Amazon and other shops as well it seems.

Reading their website, they offer saddles of goat, cow or buffalo. Goat leather is a bit more supple. Saddles are made in India.

Further website reading reveals the tanning process: 'Chrome tanning'.
Brooks uses vegetable-tanned leather for their tensioned leather saddles. In my view, it is the vegetable-tanned leather which gives the qualities associated with this style of saddle.

Chromic tanning comes with the risk of allergic reactions on the skin.

German, actually. Headquartered in Berlin.

I haven't tried their saddles, but I have bought bar tape from them.
