Pedals

I had to do a quick repair on one of the old KKT-SR pedals that came on my recently acquired Sekine.
Probably impact damage from before I got the bike- everything on the pedal was completely seperated- cups, and spindle tube.
Degreased and did the JB-weld thing, and the pedal is rolling on it's bearings now.
Probably will not last long with the loads a pedal is subjected to.
I'd like to get something that looks at least similar, and please, no plastic.
I've got cheap plastic pedals on my Schwinn MTB, and they need replacement as well- they make the bike extremely hard to pedal.
They don't have to be bottom priced either- just after a quality all metal pedal that won't break the bank acct.

Amazon has a ton of choices. Beware the real cheapies...sometimes they don’t spin. Ask me how I know.

I used a bundle of them to put on giveaway bikes to my students a few years ago.

A few of them are actually really decent at the $20-25 mark if I recall.

And Soma or VO have SR Silstar or a similar MKS model in the classic quill. Personally I like the track like versions.

Kyokuto & Sakae Ringyo are separate companies, each of whom manufacture pedals

do not know of a KKT model pedal with the designation SR

readers will need either a model name or image to give meaningful assistance

I'll pull one off tonight and get a photo up. The markings are on the spindle side and hard to see on the pedal arm.

Pretty sure that I have a nice set in my unorganized stash. Might even be these ones. Note - they are not Campy or Dura Ace, those are just boxes with some other cool stuff I bought that came with the pedal set...

Those are great pedals for cage type. No quill to cut in.

The Zeus RD is pretty cool as well!
