Rim ID help

Hi, I'm looking at a bike the seller says is 1988 made in France. Can you tell what make the rims are? Based on the other components, I expect these to be mid-level rims. The bike has lugged Columbus tubing, but it's Aelle, which was one of their lesser tubes it seems.

keep in mind possibility that label may be from a wheel supplier rather than a rim manufacturer -- a company similar to Wheelsmith of the U.S.

Go ahead; I see

Ru <something1><something2> with a star below the vertical of the R

A paper label seems odd for 1988, so it might not be a mfr. label.

My eyesight and monitor both leave something to be desired, but looks like it's cursive/script (which can deceive) and to me
R u s r
or
K u s r

and with the mentioned "curvy underscore" and star underneath the cap letter (R or K)

I'm tempted to say it might be Cyrillic, but don't know much about what cursive letterforms look like in that alphabet, also the final "r" could be in capital form (R), even though same height as the lowercase U and S and might therefore be from "another alphabet"

Yah that's what I see too. Seller says it was custom made for wife in France 1988. Has MTB Mountain LX components including triple crank, presumably for easier gearing/ Here are some more pics
