On first look I thought the monitor stand mounted on the desk was a repair stand ;). Nice desk, did you steam bend the ply?

My space is a two-part solution.
Since the house is about 100 years old and the garage is detached and has no power, the work gets done in the basement. My wife doesn't like our 4'x7' CedarShed "Yard Saver," so I am going to get the evict the gardening supplies and requisition that space for bike and car parts storage. I'll keep hanging the bikes from the garage rafters, above the cars, on "Bicycle Storage Hooks." |

No real dedicated work area. When it's nice out I may move cars and work inside the garage but mostly just in the driveway by the tools. Sometimes out in the back but getting tools from the garage can be tiresome.
When it's too hot then inside the house becomes a workspace. My bike space is consists of parts of two rooms in the basement, and is a bit of a mess -- the workshop also has some woodworking tools (most not in pic) and the HVAC, etc -- switching projects is a bit like playing real-life Tetris. lol.gif
The bike storage wall/winter ergometer room (one ergometer for me, one for my stoker/wife) shares space with laundry, wood storage (that's quarter-sawn white oak staked under the bikes), and assorted flotsam. We have a 12' x 16' shed that stores 3 more tandems and my more frequent riders. Today is shop cleaning and organizing day. Heading back down Wednesday to bring back another load. I enjoy getting the parts and selling for my friend but I hate losing precious space in my shop.
