Help identifying Campy rims
Hi Guys,
I thought you may like this. I was surprised to see that Campagnolo made car wheels. Who knew?! https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...1bfc3e3bef.png :) |

Back in the early 90's I had a 1975 Mercedes 240D with a set of Campagnolo rims on it. They were super light! With a set of Dunlop tires, that car handled like it was on rails. Said part is that it was slow as dirt, being a 4 cylinder diesel.
They were similar to these, but didn't say Alfa Romeo on them, the center dished area was slightly smaller, and had the Campagnolo logo on them in black. They reminded me of Jaguar XJ12 rims a bit. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...35931fe6b7.png |

Great car. Took about 45 seconds to get to 70mph, but then would stay there no matter what, and at ~40mpg. |
Campagnolo also made motorcycle wheels. I had a poster in the eighties with a slogan, went something like "For your car cycle or motorcycle" with images of all three. Wish I still had it.
