Modifying
This is my Miyata bike, the engineers sometimes design imperfectly, hanging the front cable stop high so when turning the handlebar will hit the rear brake cable, which can break the brake cable cover. I love perfection so I modify it like the video and pictures, lowering the cable stop position helps the 2 parts of the cover not touch each other.

Q: did you fabricate the lower (front) cable stop from another component?
thanks |

thanks Sometimes crafting is like fishing, the time and cost are greater than the value of the fish, but catching a fish is still more fun. Thanks! |

What's keeping that sticking straight back like that? Seems like a risk of losing your braking if it swivels or bends.
