Paint and chrome in the Denver/Front Range area???

I just got a set of repop decals for my Faggin from Cylomondo and I'm looking for a frame painter in the Denver, Fort Collins or Colorado Springs Colorado areas. Anyone have any suggestions?

I'd like to get the frame re-chromed too if possible. So if you know of a place that does that in the area let me know. I know it's a dying art for a myriad of reasons. I tried Google but most of the replating I could find were large orders of aerospace tech or ghosted me after getting pictures of the job.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't know anyone specifically, but there are people at the Fort Collins bike co op who do and have connections to people who do this kind of thing quite well.

Ollie at Dark Matter Finishing in Colorado Springs did an amazing job on my Picchio.

As it turns out, he was also the painter of my Zullo back when he worked at Spectrum Powder Coating, when it was still in Colorado Springs.

The Zullo logos were are painted on, no decals.

Chrome done right is not gonna be cheap. My guys charged me $500 with my nice guy good buddy discount to re-chrome my Faggin. It came back flawless but it is not for the weak pocketbook. Smiles, MH

After local "Bumper shop" outcomes my last two projects were with St. Louis Plating as they do outstanding work. Today this are getting around $350 for frame and fork plus shipping back and forth.

Some of the best painters and builders in the world are in your area! Mike Nobilette, Yipsan, Rich Gangl, just to mention a few. A few hundred miles east you can find Jeff Bock near Ames, Iowa.

I had come across them on my Google searches and their prices seemed really reasonable. Do you have pictures of the finished projects you had done?

Here you go on one my latest project a Tommasini Air fork, these are the places the "bumper shop re-chromers" screw up as they don't do detail stuff. On the lower left is a reflection of me and my camera on the fork.

Ollie painted my Nobilette when he was at Spectrum. Really nice guy to work with and does an amazing job. The downtube logos on this bike are also not decals - he painted them on.

Beautiful, nice work on the little details. I'm working on another build at the moment and if I hadn’t already had the painter for it lined up in Italy, I would have sent it to Ollie.
