Centurion components

I have this late 80s Accordos I had purchased dirt cheap and was hoping to sell. But now I’m thinking it is a better idea to strip it down and part it out….or use the crankset and derailleur to put on the ‘73 Super Course. - which the previous owner had replaced the factory set with a cheap one.

Sugano VP Crankset

Shimano light action derailleur

Weinmann rims

Thoughts?

Does the bike fit you or is it too small?

I think this is better sold as a whole bike.

I am 6’1. Too small for me.

As a whole these bikes are solid and well regarded around here. That being said, the components are quality and work well as a whole, but are not significant enough on their own to garner much interest. Parting out is almost always more profitable when it’s a bike with desirable components and frame. This bike will move much more easily as a complete bike.

But,
That crankset/drivetrain and those wheels might be considered an upgrade for your Raleigh. Don’t sell the Centurion for less than what you might pay with shipping for parts for the Raleigh.

Solid riding bike, but only one or two steps above entry level. Not much value as a complete bike in today's market (ie: the cost of a rehab before selling would put you upside down value wise).
I'd strip it for parts, toss the frame. The parts are solid, if not exciting, and would be great for using on a "daily rider/not afraid to lock it to a bike rack" quality build on a frame more suited to your size.
