Headbadge

Probably not vintage but I would appreciate help in IDing. 29" aluminum frame with aluminum fork. Disc brake mounts. Flat top bar. Is this familiar to anyone? Thanks!

Trek.

That didn't take long as it wasn't much of a challenge. Kind of a "softball" question. Or perhaps "T" ball is more like it. @louky you may be a real C&V'r not to recognize the new and not improved Trek logo.

I was hoping for something rare and exotic. And older.

Now that I think about it though. If you were a graphic designer and some big bicycle manufacturing company came to you and asked for a logo and this is what you came up with, it really really doesn't represent the company or it's values. It has a shield as some European manufacturers do, but it is not European. it has lines that converge, but it doesn't look like a road converging to a vanishing point.

It simply doesn't look like anything that ties the logo the the company values, history or what they do. It is a rather generic headbadge. It is a missed opportunity in my opinion. They come from Wisconsin. They had a barn. They became corporate. There must be something there.

The imagery is that of laying on a pile of money in your barn, looking upward through the slats.
