These are the hubs typically included in the 600 Arabesque group,.

I'm pretty sure just a date code underneath.

Dura Ace say Dura Ace on the dust caps. These are just "Shimano hubs" that went with Shimano 600 parts to make a full groupset.

You are right again. The Dura-Ace were marked on the dust caps.
So these are part of the 600 group.
Thank you.
I also add a picture of a Dura-Ace hub.

Ditto. Also, Dura-Ace hubs of that era had chrome locknuts as pictured. Black locknuts + oil clip = 600 or equivalent.

(Good golly... the trivia that's sitting around gathering dust in my brain.)

Yes, I forgot about the locknuts as identifiers as well. The Dura Ace ones look cooler and are chrome.

Shimano 105/600. Nothing fancy, but decent hubs. Cones are ground and polished like high-end hubs, cups are not, but they wear in nicely.

Yeah if I were still using freewheels, I would be happy to have those hubs. Well made and durable.

Centering the hub on the axle they make good single speed hubs.

They did come as uniglide cassette hubs as well, and while you can't just swap freehub bodies, you can cannibalize a 7 speed HG freehub body to make them hyper glide cassette compatible.
