Looking for an E. A. Boult Frame or Complete Bike

I’m the son of Bill Boult, an engineer who designed and built bicycles for his father, Earnest Alfred Boult, in Stafford. The Boult family ran their cycling business there until 1951, just before I was born. Sadly, that year was marked by tragedy: Earnest's daughter was murdered in June, and the loss deeply affected him. He passed away shortly after, along with his wife.

Following this, my father and uncle took over the business, though their interests were increasingly turning toward motorcycles. Later that year, they sold the bicycle business to Ernie Witcomb—who had worked with them since before WWII. Ernie moved production to Deptford, London.

I’m keen to find an original E. A. Boult frame or a complete bike. If anyone has one or knows where I might look, I’d greatly appreciate any leads.

Welcome aboard Peter, glad you found us, you should be in the right place.

Don't think I'm familiar but someone here is likely to be and may be able to help.

I’d suggest getting in contact with someone at the Veteran-Cycling Club: https://v-cc.org.uk

I’m hoping we get a picture of the bike when the Grandson finds one.

The Classic Lightweights UK site is oriented toward older British bikes, I would check with them.
