Is he going to send you pictures after the bike is returned?
|
He has some old photographs, you know like the kind on a piece of paper, but he needs to go through boxes to find them and then take photos of those with his phone to send them to me so I can post them on this. It’s not a priority for him
But I will be seeing him again next week and I’ll ask him again |
I know some folks are unhappy with thread drift, but this thread is a great example of how thread drift can contribute both enjoyment and knowledge to such as the likes of me!

I dunno. He mainly rides his unicycle as far as I can tell.
The Bruce Gordon (purple bike) is missing the cranks and BB so its obviously not a daily driver. The BG is a size 60 ctc which seems short to me because Geoff is a tall feller. He knows everybody from George Mount to his old riding buddy Eric Heiden so I assume if he wanted to sell something he would. But, if an off road Unicycle with hydraulic brakes is your thing…I bet he'd make you one. They are called "Telford" which is his middle name. It's the Commando that I covet. |

Brent One mans thread drift is another mans revelation. One of the best things about all this, you never know where it will take you. Many simple, seemingly straight forward requests go unanswered which is fine as it happens but we get a lot of knowledge that would otherwise not get teased out. ;) |
I traveled south of Portland to visit my friend Geoff today. He brought out a very special picture of him and his wife on a tandem with sticks poking out the bottom. He said that this thing is incredibly special to him because it was on their wedding cake and today is their wedding anniversary.

Going back to the original theme of the thread, I'm pretty sure there was an orange Colnago Tandem for sale (frame and a rew parts) at L'Eroica Tuscany last year??? Think it was badged up as something else and was a few thousand euros but I didn't pay it enough attention - bet Nonfixie did... Dan
