Help Me Identify The Old GT

Picked this bike up in the early 90's at a used sporting goods store in Durango Colorado. I believe it is a GT Avalanche but would love to know what make model if anyone here can help me out. The previous owner put decals on the sides that said "THE DARK ONE". I put a lot of miles on The Dark One while I was in college. Getting ready to do a rebuild and try to bring her back to life. Last pic is of what I think are the serial numbers on the botton. One side has T881 and the other AV 152. Flat tires, rusty cables, some spider webs and a lot of memories.

Can't help with the ID but I like that seat pack. That was a neat little design but I don't think they ever sold extra clips so you could move it bike to bike without a wrench

@Bianchigirll,
Kurt is selling bunches of those seat packs with the mounting hardware, I just gave about 60 of them to my LBS. I may opt to get a few more from him, so lemme know if you want a few. Smiles, MH

I have seen this format of serial number on several GT bicycles.

I would suggest the the serial number is: T881x AV #152.

T = toyo
88 = year of frame manufacture. 1988
1x = month of frame manufacture. Where x = 0, 1, or 2.
AV = model Avalanche
#152 -s a sequential number. where # = any digit.

Possibly a 1989 model year Avalanche.

reported as 1989 Avalanche All Terra.

I just got a few from Kirk. The price is very reasonable even if you only need the mounting clips from some of the packs.
