Beautiful bike! Beautiful photo!
All the blue anodized bits look great and they nicely define the time period when this bike was built.

Gorgeous, serious build.

I really love your attention to detail on the project.

Everything is in order, right down to the tire choice.

My friend just texted me that he has two bikes he is giving me. One is what he desbribed as an 18sp mountain bike. Ok, this could be good. Then he says it's an '84 Univega mtb top of the line he paid 1000.00 for back in the day. Pics later

Here it is in the back of my jeep. An '84 Univega Alpina Uno in incredibly great condition.

More to come...

I picked up this early '90s Cannondale M800 today for $50. I gave it a good wash and will be starting with the overhaul and putting on new tires.

Here are the pics of my freebee '84 Univega Alpina Uno. Very light rigid with nice parts and factory tires holding air. Triple butted chromo frame. Cant wait to spiff it and ride this thing.

Very nice, looks barely ridden by the looks of the brake tracks on those Ukai rims.

I don't think they went for $1k, but it was pretty expensive for a bike in 1984.

Could be our local shop up here was at the high end on pricing but it's what he paid. It's a small town we all know each other. It's amazing how many nice old bikes are out there.

This 1987 Diamondback Apex is a work in progress. The Cook Bros cranks are the most recent addition but they'll probably be replaced in order to set this up for touring.

Put some new slick Vittoria Voyager tires on the old Ross, and discovered one of the cantilever bosses was busted. I had to get creative to mount a new one. Good as new!

Thanks, the JP Morgen's 'Interesting' to ride and the front end is very plush...the KHS rides like a wet noodle! the Pascal Blanc rides very well.
