I believe it is a 1999/2000. I had the frame anodized black and the rockers done in clear. { they were clear anyway** There is only one grease fitting down by the bottom bracket. All the bushings are nos from Ellsworth. They set me up with all new Stickers, head badge , even the "made in usa " sticker. Great group of people to work with.

Thanks! The chainstay wrap is just Newbaum's cotton bar tape in orange. All the orange parts were relatively easy to find. I'm a bike mechanic so I see parts all day.

Enjoying the ride
1989 Bianchi Alante; bought it new. I've added a different stem, handle bar, pedals, friction shifters, seat, and a round 42T outer chain ring. Never liked the biopace rings.

GT Timberline
Wow! This thread just keeps going! Here's my '87 or '88 GT Timberline. I'm the original owner but just can't remember the year. Haven't ridden it for 15 or 20 years and I'm in the process of converting it into....something. Will post pics when I finish.

I was very pleased to be able to just ride down to the co-op garden and not have to stop and push my road bike. and then-- best part- put her in low and ride back out of the garden which is out behind the dumpsters- pretty decent grade with dirt, rocks and gravel that get dumped over. - just muscled right through and up.

Gorgeous day for a photo session out on the ice with my rediscovered ‘84 Univega Alpina Uno. Dang, this is fun to ride. Spring fever in January is a dangerous thing up here.

They're referred to in the catalog as Marin Lite.

2002 Cannondale Scalpel
Bought this new on a cold February day, back when I was younger & had some money.
It is very lightweight, the front end is so light it has caused me to drop a couple times.
Overall, it is a very nice, racy bike.
Handmade in U.S.A.
I think I like it.
Aluminum tubes, trigger shifters, Magura Louise fluid disc brake chambers, front & rear air shocks (special air pump required)- each with an independent lockout, carbon fiber rear stays, Black OPS platform pedals, 9 rear sprockets, 3 front chainwheels- it flies.
