Kabuki Submariner
Just bought a Kabuki Submariner on ebay. There's not much information available, and I've never seen or heard of one before over here (UK).
A lot of the kit is BS (Bridgestone) branded. There's also some pretty innovative pieces of equipment:
Bridgestone Oval double chainset - i.e. early 'Biopace' chainrings.
Front rack with double dynamo lights

Rear rack with expandable sides (perfect for a couple of medium sized pizzas)
The leather saddle is branded BS and has KSM stamped underneath and has a cute matching cover to protect it.
Anyone else got any of these parts with their Submariners? Anyone know anything about the Oval chainset - looks like it was made for Bridgestone, possible by SR?

Don't know much about the Kabuki Submariner by Bridgestone, other than the frames are infamous for their stainless-steel tubing and cast aluminum lugs. Also unusual (and frustrating) on some Kabuki models was the use of an expander wedge (much like on stems) in the seatpost.
I think Bridgestone used the Kabuki line to experiment with some unique manufacturing and construction techniques. Some of these techniques worked out, others didn't...
