Unknown track frame???

So, I have this track frame and I would like to know more about it. It came to me with loads and loads of black paint on it. I have begun striping it as you can see. There is a serial number on the bottom bracket; “MB20 17612”. It has Brev.Campagnolo ends and an English thread bottom bracket. There is an inch and ¼ between the holes for a head badge. I picked it up at t-town and I am just getting around to it. I am thinking American or British. I am also posting in the ss/fg forum.

Here are the pics

the lugs are bocama, i think, and the construction is very similar to what you'd see in a late 70's early 80's Olmo or Bianchi. Conversely it could be any of a number of smaller builders. Maybe someone will recognize the serial number (it doesn't pattern match with any of my bikes). If you haven't already discovered them, ScotchBrite paint stripper pads (medium and then fine) are the snaz for working with chemical strippers. You only need a few - wear gloves, rinse the pad out when it gets loaded.

would a bianchi or olmo have an english bb?

If you are going to paint, I would suggest bead blasting. Gets all the rust off and leaves a perfect surface for re-painting.
