If that's the kind of bike you like, and you have the ambition to restore it - go for it. It sure looks like a little TLC would make it look really sharp.

yes i think so, some steelwool 00-000, with a penetrating oil will clean up those rims and chromed parts nicely. if u bought a brand new cruiser you would spend about 350 around here. you can fix that up for real cheap, clean and wax the paint. regrease the hubs, new tires and tube if needed

Why clean it? Why is everybody so vain?? Yes it needs some grease, but ohter than that Its excellent the way it is!

I agree. There's two guys around here that have what look like old, rusty beaters but when you look at them closely, you can see that they are mechanically well maintained.
