Gios ID
Does anyone know anything about identifying Gios track bikes. According to Sheldon's site, many are counterfeit. I found a NOS lugged Gios in red, with the "Gios Torino" decals. I have read that the Torino is not a model, it merely states the city of origin. I've only seen these bikes in blue or white before. I couldn't find anything on their company website.
I posted this in the Fixed/SS board, but it was suggested people here would know more.

you gonna have to post a picture. Stickers are easy enough to come by, and many Windsors have transmuted into Cinellis overnight. Dunno about Gios, but it could certainly happen...

There is a nice Gios pista on the
www.speedbicycles.ch
website, he uses frames so a direct URL is beyond my capability but it is fun to browse anyway.
Stefan appears to gather them at a steady rate.
