is it possible to replace my single piece crank to a 3 piece? If so what kind would i need. I dont know the size off the crank on my Huffy SE tho, but i just want to know

Sure -- you can buy a bottom bracket adapter for $25 or so, but you'd be further ahead putting that money toward a better bike. I know you just got it and you're still in love and everything, but you're trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

And I'm not trying to be a snob or anything; these guys will tell you what crap bikes I own. ;)

lol, well see i wnat to upgrade this bike, and i cant buy a new one(perents wont let it), because well this is like my 10th bik ein 7 years, most of them ar somwhere in the trash.lol, but thanks for info

Have to agree with mswantak-- erm, not about his bikes, about which I have no personal knowledge-- you're trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Ride the hell out of this bike. Take the money you'd spend on upgrades and buy a better bike with it. You can buy a really decent used road bike-- a classic & vintage road bike hint hint-- for a very small amount of money, and then upgrades will make some sense.

Yeah, but what I meant is a good vintage bike won't cost you much money. Take the money you're going to spend on the bottom bracket and chainrings, and put it into a good vintage bike. Then you'll have something worth whatever money you put into it.

The Huffy isn't worth the time and money you'll spend on upgrades. Ride it until you buy something better, then sell the Huffy for the same $20 you paid, and upgrade your good bike.

One day I am going to find him a 27' vintage and he can upgrade to 700cc aka Christmas ;)
