Need tire suggestions for Motobecane

I'm fixing up a 70's Motobecane and I need recommendations on new tires that will preserve it's French tradition. I was contemplating Michelins or Hutchinsons since they are both French companies. However, I am no expert and just a newbie to the whole vintage bicycle culture. So, any suggestions would be truly appreciated. Thanks!

700c or 27''? If the latter, can't go wrong with Michelin World Tour.

To be honest, I have no idea! According to the experts on this forum, it is a pre-1976 Motobecane Grand Jubilee or Grand Record.
